Keystone is delighted to announce that five key members of the Real Estate team will be attending MIPIM 2016 from 15 to 18 March.

MIPIM UK is the UK’s largest exhibition and conference for property professionals. Each year around 4,500 individuals, 2,000 companies and 600 investors participate and are welcomed to a marketplace provided for UK players and international investors to meet, discuss projects and opportunities, and conduct business.

The event focuses on four key areas: an exhibition showcasing companies and their projects; conferences providing insight from senior industry experts and exploring national industry trends; business-oriented networking events; and awards recognising developers working to revitalise cities and towns across the UK.

The Keystone lawyers in attendance will include London-based UK property solicitors, Nick Ellis and Jason Kallis, two lawyers from the Isle of Man office, Geoff Kermeen and Stephen Rodd, and offshore solicitor John Stephens, based in Guernsey. Keystone’s experts provide a full range of advice on Commercial Property, with a client base ranging from entrepreneurs and small retailers to property developers and international companies.

Nick specialises in real estate as an asset with a focus on finance and structures, and his work covers the full spectrum of real estate sectors. He is consistently recognised in the Legal 500 as an expert in his field and his clients include Yo! Homes, Prime City Centre Developments, and MacDonald Egan.

Manx Advocate Geoff focuses on corporate and structured finance work. He has particular expertise in insolvency and restructuring real estate holding companies, and is skilled in dealing with real estate and asset finance for both lenders and borrowers. Geoff is also a member of the Investment Property Forum.

Stephen is an expert in offshore real estate structuring and finance. He works for private equity and property funds, SPVs and non-dom investors, advising on holding investment property or undertaking property development. Stephen also has much expertise in senior debt, mezzanine debt, refinancing, and off-balance sheet orphan structures.

As an experienced Guernsey-based solicitor, John predominantly acts for offshore investors and developers of commercial property in inward UK investment, secured lending, and development-related work for financial industry developers and funders.
