Media star Lawrence Abramson exits Fladgate to join Keystone Law

Former Harbottle & Lewis managing partner Lawrence Abramson has left Fladgate to join Keystone Law.

Abramson, who joined Fladgate in June 2010, is a litigation partner specialising in the music, television, film, publishing and sports industries (15 June 2010).

During his time at Harbottle he was drafted in by News International, owner of the defunct News of the World, to review its internal emails (7 May 2012).

In the past Abramson has advised on a raft of high profile media cases, including acting for Procul Harem singer Gary Brooker on a copyright dispute with organist Matthew Fisher – the last case to be determined by the House of Lords before it became the Supreme Court.

He will start in his new post at Keystone in early January 2014.

Keystone Law’s managing partner James Knight said: “We are delighted that Lawrence will be joining Keystone, he is a true legend in his field and is indicative of the calibre of lawyers that we continue to attract.”
