Keystone Law has today announced that property lawyer Joe Haigh has joined the firm’s Newcastle team from Womble Bond Dickinson where he was Managing Associate.
Joe specialises in commercial and mixed-use freeholds and leaseholds and he has particular expertise in real estate investment and niche property/pension-related transactions (SIPP and SSAS) including acquisitions, asset management, disposals and refinancing. His client base includes household-name pension and investment companies as well as high-net-worth investors based in the North East and across the country.
Prior to his time at Womble Bond Dickinson, Joe spent time at two other key regional players, Muckle LLP and Ward Hadaway
Keystone’s Newcastle offering launched in February 2017 with three other past WBD lawyers forming the initial nuclear team.
Founder and CEO of Keystone Law James Knight commented:
“Our approach to growth has always been in response to both lawyer and client demand. Over the past year we have heard increasingly more from both sides of the coin, in the North East, and have responded accordingly. Joe’s outstanding knowledge and understanding of the investment market, across Newcastle and beyond, will complement the team’s existing expertise perfectly.”
"The particular Keystone model appeals to me and I’ve met some great people so far - all focused keenly on agile service delivery and the wellbeing of the client. My only regret is not starting sooner!”
