Keystone’s ever expanding employment offering has been boosted by the arrival of solicitor advocate Tara Grossman from Herbert Smith Freehills where she was Senior Associate.
In addition to advising across a full spectrum of employment issues, Tara is a data protection specialist and has an abundance of experience in advising companies on the new EU General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR).
Her general non-contentious practice includes drafting employment contracts, secondment agreements, advising on corporate transactions (often involving the application of TUPE) and negotiating employee terminations. Meanwhile, Tara also has acted in a range of Employment Tribunal claims such as unfair dismissal, age discrimination and disability discrimination, and High Court claims including breach of contract claims and interim injunction applications.
Tara’s client base largely comprises those in the financial services, tech and insurance sectors and as well as being qualified to practise in the UK, she is also licensed to practice in Hong Kong.
Key cases have included acting for Société Générale in the Supreme Court case of Raphael Geys v Société Générale, a case on bonuses and employee notice periods which eventually set employment precedent.
