With almost three decades of experience in his field, Ian joins from Hamlins where he previously held the role of Partner in the Media, IP and Commercial Law team. Over his career he has gained an abundance of expertise, across a wide range of commercial matters.

Ian specialises in marketing, brands and commercial law, focusing on advertising, sales promotions, sponsorship, merchandising and IP licensing. He has advised a striking repertoire of clients in the food, cosmetics, hotel and entertainment sectors and is regularly instructed by McDonald’s..

Outside of work, Ian is a keen charity fundraiser and has successfully swum the channel twice!
