Neil has 30 years’ experience in commercial dispute resolution. His practice covers a broad range of commercial disputes. Neil has advised on major contractual disputes, negligence claims, employment litigation, injunctions, warranty claims and intellectual property issues. He also has an abundance of experience in insurance and reinsurance, advising on a wide range of disputes, including professional indemnity, property, aviation and private medical insurance. Neil has also drafted policy wordings. Much of Neil’s work has had an international element, involving working closely with and managing lawyers in different jurisdictions and often raising complex issues of fact and law and conflict of law.
Where appropriate, Neil is well placed to assist clients in resolving disputes through alternative methods such as arbitration or mediation.
He has presented seminars, both internally and externally, on various litigation, employment law and insurance topics and he has spoken at several major insurance conferences.
