Melissa is a disputes lawyer with specialist experience in emerging markets disputes involving the Middle East and Russia, and is dual-qualified in England and Australia. She is experienced in handling complex, often cross-border, commercial arbitration and litigation. Having worked in London, Dubai, Moscow and Perth, Melissa has conducted multijurisdictional disputes in common law and civil law jurisdictions. She has acted in a range of industry sectors including commercial, energy and resources, real estate, infrastructure, corporate and finance.
Melissa has conducted commercial and international arbitrations under a variety of laws. She has represented clients in institutional and ad hoc arbitrations including under the LCIA, ICC, SCC, DIAC and UNCITRAL Rules.
Melissa also speaks fluent Italian and conversational Russian.
