John has more than a decade's experience in commercial, intellectual property, and technology law. Within the spectrum of commercial matters, he advises on brand protection, assisting clients with the necessary commercial steps to identify, protect, exploit and enforce their brand and IP. He also has expertise in advising business owners and companies on the start-up, growth and exit phase of their businesses, as well handling any contentious matters they may have.

John’s client base ranges from independent creative and design agencies, digital, VR and film production agencies, innovation agencies, technology and systems developers, to tech start-ups and cloud platforms, as well as leading brands.

He is also UK legal adviser to SoDA, the global society of leading businesses in the digital and creative industries, and a member of both the British Interactive Media Association and the Society of Computers and Law.
