Keystone Law is pleased to announce the hire of City-trained Robert Wharton, as a consultant solicitor in the Corporate team.

Robert has almost 40 years’ experience as a corporate lawyer. He advises on corporate, commercial and financial services regulatory law. His previous firm started the mis-sold pensions litigation in the early 1990s and he now acts for a wide range of businesses mostly related to the insurance and financial services industry.

Robert has a highly extensive knowledge of mutual insurers, IFAs, networks, and the wealth management industry. He works exclusively for the industry and not against it.

Across his impressive career, Robert has worked with top-100 law firms and prior to that ran his own successful law firm of some 40 employees for twenty years.

The arrival of Robert brings Keystone’s Corporate team to a total of 32 Partner-level lawyers, making it among the largest of the firm’s offerings.

“Robert is a significant addition to our growing Corporate practice,” said James Knight, Keystone Law’s Managing Partner. “We’re delighted to welcome such an accomplished business and legal advisor who complements our strengths in serving both the financial services and insurance industry.”
